Development and Prospect of Changshu anodic oxidation

The anodizing technology of aluminum and aluminum alloy takes improving the oxidation speed and hardness as the development direction. In order to improve the oxidation speed and comprehensive performance of Changshu anodizing, it is recommended to use eoe-88 series pulse power supply with pulse wave. The pulse components in its output voltage and current are rich, which is equivalent to 300 small pulse waves superimposed on the DC wave per second, and the film-forming speed is fast. For thick film oxidation, a "fast pulse" power supply with a frequency of 3-13.3hz can be used to give full play to the advantages of saving electricity and improving speed and hardness. Changshu anodizing is a new anodizing technology. Magnetic powders such as Fe3O4, CrO2 and TiO2, superhard powders such as Al2O3, SiC and sin and conductive powders such as graphite (micron scale) are added to sulfuric acid, oxalic acid and trisodium phosphate electrolytes respectively to suspend them in electrolytic solution for anodizing. The process has the advantages of easy operation, simple equipment and low cost. Compared with conventional anodic oxidation, its oxidation speed, upper limit of operating temperature and film performance are significantly improved. The results show that some powders can improve the hardness of the film, some powders can reduce the oxidation tank pressure, and some powders can increase the thickness of the film. Recent research results show that Al2O3 powder can more than double the hardness and corrosion resistance of aluminum oxide film in H3PO4 solution, so it has a broad research prospect.


At present, the research on additives is very active. There are many kinds of additives and different action mechanisms. The effective role of additives makes it have great market potential.


To sum up, many new processes have emerged in the anodizing of aluminum and its alloys, but they are also challenged by various surface treatment methods. It is expected that Changshu anodizing technology will still be the main surface treatment method in the next 10 years, but the process technology needs to be continuously improved in order to occupy the leading position for a long time.
